What have we here!?! THE MAX LEVINE ENSEMBLE joined the Rumbletowne world with their 10th release in fifteen years: BACKLASH, BABY!?!!! Oooh it's good! Impossibly catchy, pissy, funny, angry and smart smart smart. 13 undeniable tunes. These humans are skillful and their ability to articulate relevant social commentary through excellent punk composition and pick slides galore is nonpareil.

RTR 2007 - 2017

Rumbletowne Recs was founded in 2007 by Erica Freas and Mattie Jo Canino in Olympia, WA. Erica ran RTR by herself from around 2013 until the label folded in 2017. Over the years RTR lived in bedrooms, Dumpster Values, and basements. The name came from a punk house that defined a moment in time and then dissolved into the past.

This page was made to hold space for the releases that are bound by Rumbletowne Records - and to broadcast the occasional new one. Some of the releases will be available for mail-order through other record labels. I'll update with links as the info is confirmed.

Thanks for the years of support, sweet letters and patience. It was a pleasure to run this project and it's a pleasure to end it.
